There will be no organized adult formation this week during the Sunday School hour due to an unexpected scheduling conflict.
This is the final week for Parish leadership nominations: we still especially need candidates for delegates to Diocesan Convention and to the Woodbury Convocation! See the Nomination Form or the bulletin for more information!
It’s Giving Tree season once again! Look for these trees in the Upper Level Parish Hall and the Nave. Each ornament has an item chosen by a child hand picked from KoH families and others in need of some help this Christmas. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah T. or Vivian H.
- Please return any/all gifts unwrapped.
- Affix the ornament to your unwrapped gift (this helps us know who it belongs to!)
- Place any/all gifts in the designated boxes in the Nave and Parish Hall
- Please return all gifts by 3 December
- Thank you for your generosity!
With the approach of the holidays, the number of fraudulent email, phone calls, and text messages is on the rise. Church members and leaders are commonly targeted by scammers who pretend to be known clergy or diocesan staff. These messages may come via email or text message and try to convince you to send money, buy gift cards,
or send information. Read this article to better familiarize yourself with common scammer tricks released by the diocese.
Check out this article about St. Thomas’ parishioner and Rowan professor Heather L., who just published her new book, Psalms of Unknowing.
This week Presiding Bishop Curry called the Church to respond to violence in Gaza by demanding a stop to the killing. “Today I raise my voice for love because more than 10,000 people have died in Gaza, including more than 4,000 children. The violence is horrific, and the geopolitics are complex, but my call to love is simple: Stop the killing. Stop all of it. Stop it today.”
