The CDC COVID-19 Community Level is MEDIUM. This means masks are not required but still not a bad idea! COVID exposures (being around someone who has COVID but doesn’t realize it yet) are still happening, including at church.

Please note: COVID cases are going around our (St. Thomas’, South Jersey) community. Please take the precautions you need and test if you feel cause for concern. We’re all tired of COVID, but apparently it is not yet tired of us!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Fall Flea Market a success!

The St. Thomas’ ECW is once again participating in Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” fundraiser.  For a $5.00 donation to St. Thomas’, you will receive a 25% off shopping pass to be used in most departments in-store only (not online), Wednesday, October 19th from 8 am til 11 pm.  Any funds raised by St. Thomas’ will be used to support our ECW’s mission projects for women and children.  Please see Linda K. or any ECW member to purchase your shopping pass.

Dear Friends: Thank you for your gift of $712 to Episcopal Relief and Development. I am so grateful to have you as our partner and to be standing with you now looking into the future. There is so much more to do. You can keep abreast of our progress on our website. I know that working together for lasting change with you will get us closer to the transformed world and abundant life that God imagines for all of us.

Faithfully, Robert W. Radtke, President & CEO

Saturday, 24 September at 10 am the Diocese ECW is having its Annual Meeting at St. David’s in Cranbury, NJ.  You can register to attend in-person, or virtually here.  All women of the church are members of the ECW!

The annual Pitman Glassboro CROP Hunger Walk is Sunday, October 16th at 1PM at New St Park in Glassboro.  Money or non-perishable food (i.e. peanut butter or jelly) are accepted. Make checks payable to “CWS/CROP”.  Part of every donation will help Kitchen of Hope, Samaritan Center, Pitman Pantry, and the Shop at Rowan.  Stride along with Saint Thomas’ in Glassboro to raise money and awareness to help feed the hungry near and far!  Will you consider joining our team?  You can get more info here or by contacting Eric C.

Our COVID protocol is following the CDC guidelines for Gloucester County. Masks are not presently required. But they are still simple and effective protection. Please be sure to stay on top of your recommended vaccinations to protect all those you love.

If you would like to contribute to the work of Episcopal Relief & Development serving refugees from Ukraine, you can donate here.
