Join us for the final installment of our Adult Formation (9am Sunday) series about Angels led by Bobby Kramer and Donna Freidel. Then stay for Coffee Hour at 10am!

We are looking for volunteers to host coffee hour at 10AM on Sunday mornings.  Elaborate spreads not needed – it’s easier than you think!  Contact Deacon John or Donna F. to volunteer.

Thank you to to everyone who supported the Pitman/Glassboro CROP Hunger Walk this past Sunday. We raised over $1,000 for our local food pantries!

The next day appointed for baptisms by the BCP is All Saints, which we will celebrate on Sunday 6 November. If you or someone you know is interested in baptism, please speak to Father Todd immediately to make preparation!

Deadline approaching! The My Way of Love Inventory is a series of confidential, challenging, and thought-provoking questions based on the most comprehensive and statistically valid data from RenewalWorks, which works with full congregations to help them refocus on spirituality and discipleship.  You can get more information on this process here.  The final day to submit is 30 October.

There will be an ECW Meeting this coming Wednesday, October 26th at 10 am in the Parish Hall.  We will be packing up the feminine products to deliver to Rowan and making some future plans including hosting the Convocation meeting in November. New members always welcome!  Please join us!  This is the last weekend ECW is collecting feminine products.

23 October is “Stewardship Sunday.”  See Bishop Stokes’ Sermon here.

As Episcopalians, we belong not just to a congregation but a Diocese. There are many ways to serve God’s community on the Diocesan level, and several of those opportunities (“offices”) will be filled at our 2023 convocation. Now is the time to make nominations! See the letter, list of offices to be filled, and nomination form on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall or online.

See our own Andrea R. profiled on nj.com!

Who will be the next Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church? Your opinions will help shape the answer to that question as the Episcopal Church begins its work toward electing our next Presiding Bishop in the summer of 2024. Offer your input here by 31 October: https://www.generalconvention.org/jncepb-survey

The 11th annual Soles for the Harvest 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run will be on 11, November 2022 and is sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey, Office of Jubilee Ministries.  Details about the event can be found here or by contacting Tal K.

Welcome Fall!  The St. Thomas’ ECW is most grateful for the generous support we had in the spring in the collection of toiletries given to Mothers Matter for moms in need.  This fall we are collecting women’s sanitary products (pads, tampons, etc.) to be given to the food pantry at Rowan University.  Costs of these items has skyrocketed, and we feel we can be of help to the young women of Rowan.  Please consider donating sanitary products or a monetary donation for this mission.  There are baskets in the church and the first floor of the Parish Hall for your donation or you can put a monetary donation in the collection plate in an envelope marked ECW-Sanitary Products.  Thank you!!

All children and youth are invited to our annual pumpkin carving fun on Sunday, October 30 following the 10:30 service. If you are interested in joining in our fun, please let Barb or Gretchen know by Sunday, October 23 so we can make sure we have enough pumpkins.
