Parish Email for Friday, 10 September 2021

Due to a high local “daily new cases” rate, we are having no indoor gatherings.  Masks are strongly suggested even outdoors, regardless of vaccination status.  Covering our noses and mouths is how we love one another right now.

This week our Sunday liturgy will move back to 10.30am to make space for the children’s Sunday School online! Join at 10.30 as we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, with an outdoor picnic to follow immediately.

Kitchen of Hope is tomorrow, Saturday, 11 September.  Contact Vivian Hanson (856-366-8461) if you’d like to help!

This Sunday 12, September 2021 we will be having our Rally/Kick-Off picnic. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Gretchen Owen 856-264-5681.

The Fall Flea Market is next Saturday, 18 September from 8am to 2pm.  Rain Date 25, September 2021. Please contact Debbie Lubelski for information and table rentals at 856-694-2449.

Fall is coming!  So what does that mean?  It means the St. Thomas flea market, cooler weather, apple cider, beautiful leaves, playoff baseball, and yes, Stewardship season. That time when we step back and reflect on all of God’s blessings in our lives; and respond with our pledges to St. Thomas’ so that we can collectively do God’s work.  October is coming and it’s Stewardship Month.

New college activity! This month we’re starting a new liturgy aimed at Rowan students and others of college age: Compline & Pizza! At 8pm on Wednesday nights, we will gather outdoors at the Lychgate for a sung service of Compline, followed by pizza and conversation. Please pray for this new endeavor and especially for our neighbors at Rowan.

More than 1 million people, including more than half a million children, have been impacted by the back-to-back disasters, and the death toll is close to 2000. Episcopal Relief & Development and its partners are responding immediately with direct assistance to vulnerable households in the region, as partners plan long-term recovery. Your generous gift can provide assistance to help people in the wake of these disasters. To assist in these efforts, visit
