It’s Advent as St. Thomas’! What hasn’t been happening? Very little! On Advent 3, Gaudete Sunday, we rejoiced as the children presented a pageant (on the stage!) telling the story of the birth of Jesus. On Tuesdays in Advent we celebrated Evening Prayer, commemorating Saint Nicholas of Myra, Thomas Merton, and St. Thomas the Apostle. Our young preachers each challenged and encouraged us in our faith. Finally, Advent means the joy of decorating, preparing for Christmas. The youth built Gingerbread Houses and the adults decorated the Nave. It’s Advent at St. Thomas’!
