Reminder: Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday! Don’t forget to set your clocks BACK one hour!
November is a time for us to give thanks!
United Thank Offering boxes and envelopes are in the Church and Parish Hall.
UTO encourages us to notice the good things that happen each day, give thanks to God for those blessings and make an offering for each blessing using a UTO Blue Box or envelope.
Cash or checks made out to St. Thomas’ with UTO on the memo line are welcome and sent to the Diocese and given as grants to many mission projects.
We will have an in gathering of our offerings on the last weekend of November.
An Invitation from Bishop French
Everyone interested in having a healthy congregation is invited to join a Diocesan conversation about just that! The special speaker, the Rev. Alissa Newton, knows what she’s talking about and is always a joy to be with. You are welcome to attend online, and you will find it even more profitable in-person, at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton, on Friday evening (18 Nov) and Saturday morning (18 Nov). Register here.
Episcopal Campus Ministries at Rutgers University, on behalf of the Campus Ministry Foundation of the Diocese of New Jersey, cordially invites you to an open house at the Canterbury House in New Brunswick. We welcome you to come learn more about our ministry, see our newly rehabilitated center, hear some of our history, chat with current members of our board, and meet some of our students. The open house will be held on November 5th from 3 pm – 6 pm. Please RSVP to canterbury.house@rutgers.edu or by calling 732-932-1278. We hope to see you there!
A group from St. Thomas’ went to the premier of a documentary about the “Philadelphia 11”: the first eleven women ordained as priests in the Episcopal Church. You can read a report about that day from the Episcopal News Service.
