Welcome to Our Family

In the Acts of the Apostles, Jesus commanded his disciples to go forth and minister to all nations and to all people. At Saint Thomas Church in Glassboro, New Jersey, His call to His people still rings loud and clear. Those who call St. Thomas home have a great commitment to faithful worship and service. This is not a church where people come for a passive worship experience, but rather one where people come to roll up their sleeves, eat at the Lord's table and then go about doing His work.

This is a congregation rooted in the history of the area, with one of the oldest sanctuaries in the area that is on the national Register of Historic Places. You will see that we are a relatively small but highly energetic congregation that can fill the calendar with functions that always seem to draw a good crowd. We are a congregation that cares about our brothers and sisters in the community, adopting families for gift giving during the holidays and supporting local charities that provide for the less fortunate around us.

Our parish is a warm and loving place where people of different ages, races and backgrounds can come together and worship as one family. Like a family, we can also disagree with each other and yet maintain that sense of fellowship that comes from knowing that we are all God's children. St. Thomas is a special place indeed.
