St. Thomas' is nestled in the historic New Jersey town of Glassboro. Glassboro is known for its rich heritage in glassmaking. This suburban community has a hometown quality with all the perks of a small city including fine dining, shopping and entertainment. Glassboro is also the home of Rowan University ranked again in 2005 as one of "US News & World Report" best institution for higher education. Rowan University recently opened the Edelman Planetarium on their campus.

A forty-five minute trip to the south will find you at the Jersey Shore. The shore is the perfect place to spend the day relaxing on the beach and the evening strolling along one of the many boardwalks.

Glassboro is located twenty minutes east of Philadelphia, the birthplace of our country. A short ride across the Delaware River will place you in historic Old City. Philadelphia also offers an array of museums, theatres, restaurants, and professional sports.

Farm fresh produce is easily obtained from one of the several local farm markets. Stop by and taste some of Jersey's finest produce. Top quality strawberries, corn, peaches, cantaloupes, and tomatoes are some of the delicious fruits and vegetables grown locally.
